This 3G GSM and GPS Tracking solution will locate and track the whereabouts of your vehicle in real time via the internet on a computer or smartphone, the device is easy to install with only 4 wires to connect. This one works by sending the vehicles GPS coordinates via the GSM network to the free online tracking service, which shows the location on google maps. It can also SMS longitude and latitude coordinates to upto 3 mobile phones, as well as alerts when vehicle exits a pre-determined area or exceeds pre-set speed.
We can supply and install the unit but also, we can supply and change the SIMcard, when/if necessary, and for some reason if something isn't working we will be able to take care of it. There are 2 types of plans you can choose when you go to choose your GPS unit. The first is Live Tracking - With this you will be able to view a whole 12 months of movement data, giving you full access to where your fleet is and has been. You will be able to choose whether you receive daily or weekly activity update reports. The second is Locate on demand - This plan is designed for those who don't require live tracking, it is designed so that at any point in time you can manually check where your vehicle is through the app. This way you dont get constant updates on your location when you already know where your vehicle is.
Other features include an engine kill function to remotley disable the petrol pump, and movement sensor to extend battery life. An SOS/ Panic Button is also supplied which can send an SMS to the pre-programmed mobile phones. The built in rechargable Li-Po battery will keep the device functioning for upto 4 days when power is disconnected, which could help you locate the vehicle should it have been stolen and abandoned.
